low flow/low pollutant permit self-monitoring requirement

Grab Sample

New and renewed MWRA Low Flow Low Pollutant Permits contain the requirement that the permittee sample its process wastewater and have it analyzed by a DEP certified lab.  The permit cover letter will provide information regarding the pollutants to be analyzed.  The analytical results shall be submitted within 60 days of permit issuance.  We can perform the sampling event and transport the resulting samples to the certified lab with which we have an account.  Upon receipt of the analytical results, we will provide them to you and submit them electronically and via hardcopy to MWRA.
